Modern needs to come out of the description. Room was so dated and smelt like stale lynx and sweaty clothing. Bathroom was dated. All we had was one small electric heater in the corner to heat the room. No plug sockets by the bed. It was really giving “hotel that no one frequents because it’s in the middle of nowhere”. Desperately needs a refurb.

Pub was closed for refurbishment but the little bar was great. Steph was amazing, didn’t stop, looked after us so well. Great attitude. Really made our evening. Thank you.

It’s a Premier Inn. Standard for the brand. Only point of note was refurbishment on ground floor taking place to create a bar as they are closing the pub next door (they’ve sold it on apparently) and move a small restaurant/bar inside behind reception. No noise overnight and I was out during the day so grateful for that small mercy. Staff pleasant enough.

We had to go somewhere as we had an Electricity cut which lasted 38 hours we are elderly and very cold. The staff were very helpful and made us welcome we were so grateful.. food was very good. Thank you to all the staff . We were warm again in no time.

Great room, really friendly and helpful staff. Heater wasn’t working in our original room so immediately given a different room by the desk manager. Breakfast was amazing, cooked to order and table served, best breakfast ever in a Prem Inn (thank you Mike!). Would happily stay here again and recommend to others. Short walk into Bromsgrove town, quiet location and easy access. Thank you!

Bed comfortable. Room clean. Slipped into a wet bath for a shower - needs bath mat. !!! Windows let in road noise - needs checking. Good stay tho. 20 minute brisk walk into town .

£14.49. Say no more. I literally could cook this at home for less than £1. Even the waiter looked embarrassed to serve this. No burgers or Pizzas in stock, and this fish that was only thing that was available. I can forgive stock supply issues but to charge £14.49 for this is truly unacceptable and theft.

Rooms nice and clean although somewhat dated throughout. Food is abysmal, very slow service at breakfast and dinner. Menu is very minimal with no mixed grille available at all. Staff too busy standing chatting on their phones! One lady was ranting and shouting on her phone for 10 minutes while we were waiting for our food. It came out cold which is probably due to her prioritising her personal phone calls over customers. Have reported to head office and will not be returning to this premier inn ever again. Redditch next time for me, yes it's further away but the service is much better. Avoid

Halfway through my stay, they changed locks, and i can't get to my room. After a few times running up and down to sort the key, I had to get hotel staff to let me in my room every time i needed to access it. Hotel staff made it sound like it was my fault that they could not change locks while i was asleep 🤦‍♂️😄 Food is terible, breakfast cooked to order, but it seems like they cut your order short or come ask what you have ordered. You forgot that yourself after a long wait... Menu changed, and no more decent food left on the menu. No mixed grill, just some pica and burgers, and they taste terrible, thats a fact. No more Premier in for me..🫷 Nothing Premier about it 👎

A reasonable quality Premier Inn. Plenty of parking. Great location for walking to Bromsgrove town centre, 0.5 to 1.0 miles. Staff great.

Rooms was clean and tidy, i liked as a solo female traveller they didnt say at any point my room or name outloud would just ask for surname and point to numbers which was nice. Breakfast was good really friendly staff.

Very isolated, no where to eat or drink unless pre-booked. Rooms need a good clean (dust on curtains was disgusting- and not great for asthmatics). The noise was awful overnight and barely slept. Staff were very young and customer service was not a priority. Not worth the money- this one.

Friendly and chatty hotel staff, rooms could do with upgrading and the corridors/carpets are in poor condition. There's a lot of building work going on so this didn't help with the noise and dust etc. Had an issue that was quickly resolved by the lady on reception. We went to breakfast the next day which is nice and close, just a 30 second walk away. Unfortunately we walked in to see a female staff member eating her toast over the bar ( im not joking ) with crumbs going everywhere. Not a good look premier inn. Then there was a male staff member walking around with a facemask (again, not joking) this led to my children asking "daddy why is that man hiding his face" "is coronavirus back again?" Overall a strange experience at the restaurant, hotel was good but I expect will be nicer when the building work has finished. Unfortunately probably wouldn't return due to the woman eating her breakfast over the bar and the man hiding his face

Hotel ok but the pub next door had no gas so no beer, we were rushed to order food (the food was ok) after the meal we had a drink outside and they locked the door with us outside at 10.15 all in all a disappointing night

Poor experience, as someone who always stays in Premier Inns we found this one to be run down and grubby - especially the bathroom - but it sufficed for one night - no major complaints about the room or our stay. The problem arose when we left - we left a phone charger in the bedside plug (no doubt about it) and called soon after leaving. The hotel told us they needed to contact the housekeeping as it was no longer there and they were unsure of where they'd put it as it even though the room was still unoccupied. They promised to get back in touch with us to post it back. No returned communication and no returned charger. I’ve lost faith in the staff at this hotel and am very disappointed they have not returned our charger - I stayed in a London Premier Inn a while back and left GHD Straighteners (of a high value) and the London Premier Inn were fantastic and returned them by post - no charge either, unlike this Premier Inn in Bromsgrove, I do not recommend, find somewhere else.

Really easy to get to hotel with a quick check in and free parking. The hotel itself was under renovation when we stayed, therefore a lot of banging and workmen in the corridor during the day. You could also hear the wind coming in from the open rooms in the corridors which was quite annoying in the night. The family room we had was a standard room with a double and two singles. There was a hair dryer, tea and coffee facilities, tv. The room was fairly clean with bits of fluff and crumbs in the grooves of the carpet and there were ware and tear marks on the skirting boards. The bathroom was clean however there was a (what looked like) small hole in the ceiling and the skirting boards had black marks on them. There was no option for an evening meal at their restaurant due to it being closed therefore we had to visit the local restaurants/shops to get food. All in all an ok stay, would stay again if nothing better in the same area. Staff were really friendly and accommodating as well.

Not too thrilled about our stay here, we were told after we booked that there were major works going on to the hotel. This didn’t affect our sleep thankfully, but the hotel was incredible dusty and the entire bottom floor has become a work site. The adjacent Brewers Fayre was also undergoing renovations and therefore was not open at all except for pre-booked breakfasts. We were not told about this until we had arrived. Our bathroom door handle was instantly broken upon arrival. Not the end of the world, but something that could have easily have fixed before our arrival. Can’t fault the location, but almost everything else was just a mess. Service was also pretty lacklustre and unenthusiastic.

Good, clean rooms and nice buffet breakfast in building opposite (ex-Whitbread pub The Guild). Ideal Fish Bar is in walking distance for an evening chippie.

Broken sinks,toilet didn't flush properly. £10 charge if you got there early and wanted to check-in despite the room being ready. Pub next door not open on Saturday lunchtime, limited opening times only for guests. In my opinion Bromsgrove Central Premier Inn has really gone down in my estimation having stayed there numerous times in the past.
